Sara Marafi, Certified Veterinary Technician

Sara was born in Phoenix, AZ, but grew up on Long Island, NY.  Sara graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in March 2008 .  Her 10th grade Biology teacher, Michael Dolley is her hero and certainly a factor in her wanting to eventually pursue a career in microbiology. She lives with Kioko and Julio, her 2 dogs and her 2 cats, Sofia and Salvatore. Sara’s favorite word is ‘guacamolé’ and her least favorite is any word that is grammatically or syntactically incorrect.  What she likes most about her job is helping the doctors with diagnostics, helping heal sick patients, meeting clients and their cute pets and working at an all-around excellent facility.  She said the wildest thing she has done is nobody’s business, but does want us all to know that for fun she plays Dungeons and Dragons and she likes punk rock music.
